Please join us for the UC Merced Ethics and Compliance Forum Thursday, June 14 from 9:30 a.m. to noon in Room 110 of Classroom and Office Building 2.
The forum will provide an overview of UC Merced’s ethics and compliance program, related topics and resources. Subject-matter experts will cover the following topics:
- Records management
- Phishing, cybersecurity and other information technology-related matters
- Abusive conduct
- Options and requirements for conveying improper behavior via Title VII, Title IX, whistleblower and the Office of Ombuds Services
To register for the forum, go to the UC Learning Center, click on the magnifying glass and enter the term “forum.” Select “UC Merced Ethics and Compliance Forum 2018”.
A General Compliance Briefing is part of the forum, and those who attend will fulfill the mandatory general compliance briefing requirement. Employees who have already taken the compliance briefing e-course are encouraged to attend the forum, which will include local topics requested by UC Merced faculty and staff members. Employees who attend the forum must stay for the duration to receive credit for the general compliance briefing.
