Fall 2018 / Spring 2019 Cyber Security Awareness Fundamentals eCourse Update
UC has released a new course to replace Cyber Security Awareness and its refresher. The new course is called Cyber Security Awareness Fundamentals and it is now available in the UC Learning Center. Additional languages, including Spanish, Tagalog, and Mandarin, are expected to be available in February 2019.
Employees will be notified via an email from hrtraining@ucmerced.edu which will include instructions and a direct link to the course. Failure to complete this assignment by the due date will have a negative impact on performance appraisal ratings and merit pay for policy-covered staff. Deans, chairs, and the Academic Senate will be involved to address noncompliance involving faculty.
